A transfer case is a part of a vehicle that allows you to select a low range or high range. The higher the range, the more power you will have on your tires. The lower the range, the more power you will have in the rear wheels.
You can adjust the low range and high range on your transfer case with a lever that adjusts the clutch in the transfer case.
Can I change the low range and high range on my transfer case?
The low range and high range on your transfer case can be changed by adjusting the clutch lever.
The transfer case comes with a clutch and two levers. The first lever is for the low range. The second lever is for the high range.
If you have a transfer case with an automatic transmission, the clutch lever is in the center of the transfer case. If you have a transfer case with a manual transmission, the clutch lever is on the left side of the transfer case.
The low range is usually set at 2 or 3. The high range is usually set at 5 or 6.
